This is somewhat uncomfortable to reveal, but here goes. A handful of books sit by my bed, all only partly consumed. Within my phone, I'm partway through thirty-six listening titles, which pales alongside the forty-six digital books I've abandoned on my Kindle. This does not include the expanding collection of early copies beside my side table, competing for blurbs, now that I have become a established writer personally.

Initially, these numbers might appear to support contemporary opinions about today's focus. Choosing for Empathy and Self-awareness
