The Red Devils Set to Secure German Striker Lea Schüller from Bayern Munich
Manchester United are on the verge of sealing the deal for prolific Germany forward Lea Schüller in a permanent move from Bayern Munich.
A Major Acquisition for United
Schüller, who has half a year remaining on her deal, has been a prolific goalscorer for both club and country. Having netted over 100 goals for the German giants and found the net 54 times in 82 appearances for her country. Her arrival will be seen as a marquee coup for the WSL side.
Her exit from Bayern has been anticipated since she appeared to be fighting back tears while applauding the club's supporters after a win over Bayer Leverkusen recently.
Reports in late December that the German women's top flight was set to lose one of its top forwards. According to multiple sources, all the paperwork for the transfer have now been completed.
Reliable Goalscoring to Strengthen United's Forward Line
The 28-year-old’s signing is expected to provide a major boost to the team's forward line. Schüller has been highly consistent with her finishing in Germany’s top flight.

- She claimed the top scorer award in the 2021-22 season with 16 goals.
